INTERNSHIP:
Ground Truth Image Marking:
We designed software for identifying real world objects in the picture frames of the video captured
through a surveillance camera. I developed software package for speech recording and image frame
separation. Software package included options for simulating a video to the user with the use of perviously stored image files and simultaneoulsly recording speech. A text editor was also developed which helped the user to taka notes as the speech was being recorded. Further advancements are going on.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Part time( August 2002- May 2006), Full Time (July 15 – March 1, 2007)
Data Acquisition Software:
I developed software for 8-channel data acquisition hardware (DAC). DAC developed was 2"*2" which was specifically designed to be ultra light weight. DAC had 8 sensors on board with a 16-bit precision ADC on board. Project required it to be fitted to a helium filled ballon and left in the air. It then transmits data the information of the 8 on board sensors in real time every second through the wireless transmitter also sent along with the hardware. Data is received at the base station by a similar hardware and is then demultiplexed and tranmitted to the PC through the RS 232 port. Data is processed and stored in steps. Output data is also plotted on the monitor and is shown in 8 real time graphs. User was given the flexibility to switch between graphs in real time.
