Precision Delay Timers:

Charge amplifier developed for very low level ion beam current sensing is capable of capturing ion beam induced charge of 0.001fC to 4fC (1% of the beam charge)in the beam current sensor. Sensor to amplifier output response time is about 50ns with reduced response for short pulses than 1us in pulse width. Sensors amplifier shows 90% of the signal value in < 500ns for 1us input charge pulse. Test graphs recorded using single and double current pulses from 100ns to 4us pulse width injected into charge amplifier along with amplifier output are shown below. Current was chopped from 16pA+/-3pA current source with switching ON/OFF time of < 5ns and < 500ps jitter. Click on image to enlarge the image. Copyright (C)2006 Sensors Technology Private Limited.
